The Dagda Challenge

From: 240 (p/p or per event ex-vat)

The Dagda, which means “the good god”, is a prominent god in Irish mythology. He was the leader of the Tuatha Dé Danann (a supernatural race) and a druid, a title given to members of the high-ranking class of Celtic cultures. The Dagda is associated with the magic and wisdom of the druids, as well as the strength of the warrior. The Dagda Challenge is a test of your teams strength and endurance. This event requires a good base level of fitness and great internal drive, self sufficiency, survival skills, and stamina!

*Package price includes full day activity (hike & bushcraft skills plus BBQ & Tipee camping with breakfast).

Description

How does The Dagda Challenge work?

Teams are dropped at separate locations in the Wicklow hills. They have a guide for safety but must learn to use their own map and GPS skills to navigate to base camp (2-4 hours hike). First teams back win the prize of bonus bushcraft material. Teams then build their camp and learn Natural Living Skills in our Bushmaster Survival Challenge before an open fire cooked BBQ and overnight camp at our partner venue at Tipi Adventures in the Wicklow Hills.
