Graduate Grow: onboarding and team development
Graduate Grow is Event Square’s experiential graduate onboarding and team development programme for organisations that want new hires to connect quickly, communicate well and understand how high-performing teams work.
The programme runs in Dublin, Wicklow and at suitable venues throughout Ireland. Choose a format from approximately three hours to a full day. Then tailor the programme to your organisation, graduate cohort and learning objectives.

How does Graduate Grow work?
First, participants form teams and tackle practical, physical, mental and problem-solving challenges. Each task asks colleagues to plan, communicate and test ideas. They also make decisions and adapt under time pressure.
After each activity, participants review what worked and what they would change. They then consider how to apply those lessons at work.
If required, Event Square can integrate a professional facilitator into the day. Discuss this option when planning deeper leadership, team development or behavioural learning.

Sample programme format
- Welcome, objectives and safety briefing
- Team formation and introductory challenge
- Rotating experiential team tasks
- Mid-programme review and facilitated learning
- Collaborative team challenge or finale
- Final debrief and workplace action points
Sample activities can include challenges such as Towers of Hanoi, Minefield, Sheep & Shepherd, construction tasks, navigation challenges and collaborative problem-solving exercises. The team selects the mix around your venue, group profile and learning goals.
