We know that the successful development of graduates and young employees is key to the future of your business. That’s why it’s so crucial to provide them with the proper support to maximize their potential and ease the transition from student life to full-time employment. Graduates are enthusiastic and full of new ideas when they leave the classroom, but many lack the necessary skills to succeed in the workplace. If you want your new hire to fit right in with the rest of the team and the company’s culture, they’ll need to have excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills. We can assist your Graduates in Making the Transition. For many years, we’ve been working with businesses to help them bridge the gap between education and work. We’ll help your new hires gain the communication, self-confidence, and self-awareness they’ll need to succeed in the workplace and become effective employees who have empathy and understanding of their coworkers’ needs. The graduate and onboarding events are always tailored to your needs. After all, it’s all about your organisation.

Experiential Task > Review of Learning > Application to the Workplace

In experiential training and particularly the outdoors, people are brought face to face with the real fundamentals of management and teamwork and are required to identify and solve hands on practical problems.

After each task there is a structured review session during which the group is encouraged to examine their actions, behaviours and the process by which they tackled the task. The group will also discuss how the learning experience can be related to day-to-day life in the work place. The Facilitator will also expand on various aspects of management and team development theory that were highlighted during the particular task. It must be emphasized that the task itself is not important other than as a vehicle to highlight specific behaviours and skills.

Group broken up into teams of 6-8 and will rotate through a series of short challenges that will give leadership opportunities, experience working as a team, identify the groups strengths and shortfalls and offer continuous improvement.
