LEADER Programme support for Event Square
Event Square is proud to announce the successful implementation of a state-of-the-art laser clay shooting system, made possible through generous support from the LEADER Programme.
As a provider of events and outdoor experiences, Event Square continually looks for practical ways to expand the range of activities available to clients.
Investment in laser clay shooting
Thanks to the LEADER grant, we were able to invest in a modern, environmentally friendly laser clay shooting system.
The portable setup adds another option for corporate events, festivals, team-building days and private parties.
Unlike traditional clay shooting, laser clays offer the excitement of the sport without the noise, recoil or environmental impact of live ammunition. Deactivated shotguns fitted with infrared technology are used with reusable clays.
A mobile activity for different event settings
The system is portable, which allows Event Square to bring the activity to a range of suitable venues and event settings.
Since its launch, the activity has been used by corporate and community groups looking for interactive outdoor entertainment.
Laser clay shooting now forms part of Event Square’s wider mobile outdoor activity mix, alongside other Country Pursuits options.
Supporting rural tourism and local activity
The support from LEADER helped Event Square expand its activity portfolio while also contributing to our ability to deliver mobile experiences in rural and regional venues.
That flexibility is useful for country estates, festivals, tourism events and company days that want an outdoor activity without moving the whole group to a permanent shooting ground.
