1. Can they tailor the activity to your team, not just sell you a fixed package?
The best programmes are shaped around your group’s size, goals and personality, whether that’s onboarding graduates, celebrating a milestone or simply giving people a proper break from the desk. Ask what changes if you tell them your specific goal.
2. Do they handle logistics, or just the activity?
Venue sourcing, catering coordination and on-the-day running are often the difference between a smooth event and a stressful one. Ask exactly what’s included and what you’ll need to arrange yourself.
3. What happens if the weather turns?
For any outdoor experience in Ireland, ask about the wet-weather plan before you book, not on the day.
4. Can they show you group sizes they’ve actually run?
A company that regularly runs events for 20 people will plan differently to one used to running events for 200. Ask for examples close to your own group size.
5. Is the price clear, or full of extras?
Ask what’s included in the headline price (facilitator, equipment, materials) and what’s charged separately (venue, catering, travel, minimum numbers).
6. Can they run it at your chosen venue?
Some providers are tied to specific locations. If you already have a venue in mind, or want it in your own office, confirm that’s possible.
7. What do past clients say?
Ask for references or reviews from similar-sized companies. A provider confident in their delivery should be happy to share them.
